We had around 750 people at the preview of the movie in Rochester last night. We were one of the few early viewing locations of the movie so far. We were the third public showing of the movie after New York on July 25 and Philadelphia on July 28. The following showings are currently scheduled:

The travesty of Darfur is an issue I was not fully aware of until this week.
If you have opportunity to see The Devil Came on Horseback, please take advantage of this resource. There is also a book by the same title if you are unable to attend a showing of the movie.
Genocide is never easy to see. We said never again after World War II. Never again after Rwanda. Never again after Bosnia. Never again after Kosovo. It’s never again….Again. We must do something. Our country is sitting on the fence waiting for you and I to tell our congress and representatives to act. At least 17 resolutions have been passed. We need a public outcry to get our officials to do something.
I am considering a trip to the Darfur region of Sudan with a small team in November. Commitment on whether I will be a part of the team needs to be made in a couple of weeks. If you’d like to be on my mailing list for that trip, or wish to support me in prayer and perhaps financial support toward that goal, please let me know.
